Sodexo Live! is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Cook to join the team supporting the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at PHX Airport.

This is more than a kitchen position—it's an opportunity to create memorable dining experiences for travelers in a premium lounge environment known for exceptional hospitality, elevated cuisine, and world-class service.

As a Senior Cook, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality culinary offerings while supporting daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven setting. We are looking for culinary professionals who take pride in their craft, lead by example, and are committed to excellence in every dish they prepare.

What You'll Do:

Prepare, cook, plate, and present a variety of hot and cold menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and specialty service periods.
Execute recipes and cooking techniques with consistency, precision, and attention to detail.
Maintain high culinary standards, food quality, and presentation at all times.
Assist with menu execution, batch cooking, food preparation, and inventory support.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Support kitchen leadership by assisting and mentoring other culinary team members.
Monitor production levels, food quality, and portion standards to ensure operational excellence.
Follow recipes, production schedules, and HACCP procedures accurately.
Assist with receiving deliveries, inventory management, and organization of kitchen supplies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready kitchen environment.

What We're Looking For:

2+ years of culinary, restaurant, hotel, or high-volume food service experience preferred.
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations.
Advanced knife skills and experience with a variety of cooking methods and techniques.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Experience in upscale dining, hospitality, hotels, airport lounges, resorts, or premium service environments preferred.
Leadership mindset with the ability to support and mentor fellow team members.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.

Requirements:

Ability to pass a TSA background check and drug screening.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain airport badging credentials.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Open and flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move kitchen supplies as needed.
