Sodexo Live! is seeking experienced and hospitality-driven culinary professionals to join the prestigious Delta Sky Club team at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport — the busiest airport in the world.
As a Premium Airport Lounge Cook, you will help deliver a sophisticated dining experience for travelers from around the globe inside one of Delta’s most recognized premium lounge environments. This is more than a traditional cook position — it is an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced, upscale hospitality setting where quality, presentation, consistency, and guest experience matter every day.

Your Impact:
As a Premium Airport Lounge Cook, you will play a key role in executing high-quality culinary offerings that reflect freshness, presentation, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with culinary leadership and lounge teams to ensure every guest receives a consistent premium dining experience from breakfast service through evening operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Culinary Execution:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality hot and cold menu items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special lounge events.
- Execute recipes and production standards with precision and consistency.
- Prepare grill, sauté, and à la carte items in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, flavor, freshness, and presentation.
- Support seasonal menu rotations and premium culinary offerings.
- Taste and evaluate products regularly to ensure consistency and excellence.
Kitchen Operations:
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Wash, peel, cut, trim, season, and prepare ingredients according to production standards.
- Assist with inventory management, receiving deliveries, and proper food storage.
- Maintain organized, clean, and sanitized workstations throughout shifts.
- Support allergen awareness and special dietary accommodations.
Food Safety & Compliance:
- Follow all Sodexo Live!, Delta Sky Club, TSA, HACCP, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
- Maintain strict compliance with allergy awareness and foodborne illness prevention protocols.
- Participate in required operational trainings, safety meetings, and hazard assessments.
- Report safety concerns, accidents, or incidents promptly and professionally.

We are seeking culinary professionals who bring passion, professionalism, and precision to every plate.
Preferred Experience:
- Upscale dining or fine dining restaurants.
- Luxury hotels and resorts.
- Airline, lounge, or premium hospitality environments.
- High-volume scratch kitchens.
- Catering or elevated event culinary operations.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
- Two to three years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen preferred.
- Working knowledge of kitchen equipment, knife skills, and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and production sheets independently.
- Basic computer skills preferred
Schedule & Availability:
- Flexible availability required
- Must be available for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential in an airport operations environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Working Environment:
- Climate-controlled indoor kitchen and lounge environment.
- Moderate to loud kitchen noise during peak service periods.
- Occasional exposure to varying temperatures while supporting airport operations.
